Couples Retreat Resources
To help improve your private couples therapy retreat, we have compiled a list of useful resources below.
Before Your Retreat...
In order to get the most out of your retreat, please consider the following tasks before you arrive:
Book Flights
I highly recommend that you consider flying in and out of Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). It generally has more flights available through the week, and the drive is easy and scenic. There are also two smaller airports nearby if you prefer to consider the Burlington International Airport (BTV) or Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT). The smaller airports sometimes have direct flights, and are generally better for private planes.
Reserve Lodging
Vermont is a highly desirable travel location, so please book your hotel or other accommodations as soon as possible. Scroll down to see local recommendations.
Consider Insurance
Due to the intensive nature of couples retreats, there are only limited slots per month. This means that our cancellation policy is strictly enforced. We highly recommend that you obtain trip insurance to cover the cost of your investment. Past clients have used www.InsureMyTrip.com, and you can also check with your local insurance agent for options.
Consider A Brain Map
About half of the couples that attend a private retreat schedule a brain map while they are here. This add-on service is a powerful multi-point inspection of your brain that can help you better understand how your mind works and most importantly what you can do to increase performance in the service of helping your marriage. Click here to learn more about Brain Maps.
Complete Online Course
The Online Couples Course is designed to give you an introduction to relationships skills and the science behind successful marriage. Please complete at least the chapter on “Connect” before attending your retreat. You will have unlimited access to the course for one year after your retreat. Click here to access the course.
Submit Questionnaire
Each partner must complete their own relationship questionnaire before attending the retreat. Please login to the client portal here to access the form.
